The subcellular location page gives an overview of the subcellular location (in three human cell lines) of protein(s) targeted by the antibody/antibodies for this gene. At the top of this page, a selected image for each gene/protein is shown, together with a summary of the protein location in all studied cell lines and the
reliability score for the antibody. The main subcellular location of the encoded proteins and any additional locations are reported. Additional locations are characterized by either a markedly lower staining intensity than the main location, or that it is only observed in a subset of the cell lines. A short assay summary for the protein is also given.
The immunofluorescent staining using the antibody in three different human cell lines is shown, together with annotated location, staining characteristics, staining intensity and
validation score. The assay is described
here.
Three different organelle probes are displayed as different channels in the multicolor images - nuclear stain in blue, micro-tubules in red and ER in yellow. The antibody staining is shown in green. By using the "toggle channels"-buttons, the different channels can be turned on and off. The intensity toggle shows the pixel intensity range in 16 different colors, for the selected channel, antibody, nucleus, microtubules or ER:
To change which images to compare, drag and drop a miniature image from the bottom on one of the top three positions. Three images can be compared at a time.
All images are clickable for an enlarged view. The selected image will appear in large size and miniature images with all other staining results for this gene will be listed at the top left of the image. The selected miniature image has a green overlay.
